Hopefully this will eventually be one of the very rare things which failed the transition (or even the effort of it) from the virtual to the real. Unless the adaptation can be Tomb Raider-esque Jolie-fied? Umm.
Still. Bad Atari!

History of Bonga-Bonga

We Indonesians are quite familiar with the term Bonga-Bonga, but apparently it has different meaning in Japanese.
Boong-Ga Boong-Ga is an arcade game which allows you to assault unsuspecting assholes. Yes. Bungholes, if you may.
Why? Because Japanese people are very fond of kancho as one of their favorite pasttimes after baseball.
Weird, eh? Then again, Japan is a country where a pet-shop owner can proudly pose for a published picture with his porn-actress daughter. Salute!
It Does Matter
Spot on idea, perfect casting. I’d lose the headline though, ‘cause the product is obviously self-explanatory. Fools!
Wonder whether this lady will cringe in despair when she sees this ad. People have different standards indeed.

"Hey lady, we all kinda saw your tit already but still we wanna shake your hands!"

Idea is Nothing if Not Being Acted Upon
In retrospect, who would have thought the world will come to this? Apparently, Noah Kalina knew something I didn’t.
He took a picture of himself everyday. Since 2000.
For a (very brief, if compared to him) period, I diligently took a picture of my daughter from the day she was born in early 2001. Then I stopped, for no reason.
Good things do come to those who wait.
UPDATE:
I know am sounding like a grumpy geezer, but once I had this idea for a client, of people dancing in silence, thru the magic of wireless headphones, back in 2000. Unfortunately, the client didn't buy the concept.
Well, what do you know. Fast forward to 2005, and this duo from Netherlands executed Silent Disco big time, albeit for a different cause. It is all good.
Got idea? Act fast!

Joe On-Demand
If, like me, you're doomed for a career in advertising for the rest of your life, one just couldn't avoid the occasional phrase "damn, wish I had thought of it first!", which happened to me when stumbling upon this one thru Radical Trust's. Especially when you're in the midst of setting up a similar kind of agency. A brilliant piece of copywriting, indeed. Hey, but isn't the guy looked like Tom Sizemore? Anywho, the ad reads:Don’t call me. I’ll call you.
I Say: Search and ye shall find.
You can come to me. But more likely, I’ll come to you.
I’m unpredictable. I know what I want.
I buy a lot of stuff.
I am not my mom & dad.
I’m already overwhelmed – don’t push me.
My phone means more to me than my TV. So does my PC. So does my best friend.
I’m a hunter and gatherer.
I have very little time for you.
I have all the time in the world.
And I buy a lot of stuff.
I’m not listening (la la la la)
I’m smarter than you think.
I don’t expect a lot. I demand a hell of a lot.
I love to be amused. Surprised. Respected.
Did I mention I buy a lot of stuff?

Have you?

Idea is Nothing without Marketing?

Alright, have to admit that am a chronic trend slut wannabe. Jumping on any blogging bandwagon which is about to hit mainstream, e.g. Kirsty Hobbs' The View From Your Window.
This time around, thru Stan's Brand DNA, I pounced upon Iain Tait's idea of Computers Behind Blogs.
But then again, was it really his original idea?
Because when I did search the keyword "computersbehindblogs", the result (at time of this post) actually showed two Flickr groups with EXACTLY the same thought behind them. And Iain's was started roughly one week after the other (allegedly the first one), yet apparently his has become the more popular one.
Honestly I doubt that Iain stole this idea, this must be another case of them "nothing new under the sun" and "great minds think alike" idioms at work.
Probably it won't matter who comes up with any new idea, but the first one to popularize it would be the most likely to reap the benefits (and the credits too, perhaps).
Anywho, having seen the computer I've been tampering with for this blog, I don't think you'd still wonder why the posts here were mostly crap. Right?
