What a Mixed Up, F*cked Up Start of Oh Seven

First of all, happy Oh Seven people! And oh, what did our nation get for presents? One crashed Adam Air airplane exactly on Jan 1st, to follow up one capsized ferry to close 2006. Condolences, definitely. My prayers and deepest sympathy go for the families which lost their loved ones, may they all rest in peace.

Okay, so disasters come and go. The human civilization is already deterioriating anyway. But you know what is the most sickening? (Kim, I think this would be the ultimate proof on how f*cked up we Indonesians are, in addition to being lazy slobs. On second thought, we indeed are FUCKED up bunch of people, yep no bleeping this time, surely after reading this post further)

The report that the crash site has been found this morning (90 people dead, 12 survivors etc.) was a fucking HOAX! A freaking fucking big hoax!

Allegedly, some locals believed (hallucinated?) that they had located the crash site. Or probably they actually thought that it was April 1st and it must be damn funny to pull a prank like this. A prank on the subject of national disaster. Are they nuts?! Even more hilariously, the locals living closest to the "site" denied they had had any knowledge whatsoever! So who's the dumbass here?

Congrats to whoever they are, that was technically the biggest "practical joke" ever pulled on the whole world! Don't these people have a conscience?

As for the officials releasing statements to the world, bravo. Applause. Whatever. Does the word "cross check" mean anything to them? On the other hand, PR experts should take notice and learn from these geniuses. Look at the worldwide coverage! NOT!

The following is the article from Kompas' website. Detik News also has the chronology, or Yahoo! for English audience. I rest my case.

Laporan Wartawan Kompas Dwi As Setianingsih,Reny Sri Ayu Taslim
